Decisions Making

Making choices is part of life.  There are choices we made which we will rejoice in the results but there are also choices we made which will leave us feeling frustrated and embarrassed.  In this materialistic world, there is a over-emphasis of Outcome-Decides-Decision soundness culture. Of course we can never run away from the Outcome-Culture we live in.  But if you think hard enough, you will realise that the merits of the Process is a more important aspect in decision making.  There are 2 aspects of Decision-making that we have to pay attention: (A) The Process (B) Whose Plan? Sometimes we can be so taken by the results that we forget the PROCESS leading to those choices. Dad is trained as a management consultant. So we say, "..if you control the process, the outcome is certain".  Whilst that is true, I often didn't get the desired outcome.  As a young man fresh from university, everything is science. WRITING THIS BLOG....

By the time, you read this, some of you would have been married or even a mother. I created this blog so that you know more about your father's inner thoughts. Many things you hear me were often things I ought to say and teach you while at your age. So I hop you take your time to read and re-read.  I have chosen my words very carefully. Some of you might not agree with my thoughts or might even seen the same events differently.  But that is OK.  That is how life is.  Seen through the lens of our own values and experiences. And as you grown older, your walk through more experiences of events and these events shape your existing values.  Your views with your sisters whom you grew so closely together shall diverge too.  Just be careful not to be a cynic because yours is bitter.
